Immersive Technologies celebrated the official opening of the company’s new production campus with a ceremony for their employees.
Immersive Technologies has announced the winners of its 14th annual Global Business Improvement Award which acknowledges the most outstanding results achieved by mining companies who use simulation as a key driver in mine optimization.
In their 30th anniversary year, Immersive Technologies has powered ahead in delivering a record number of workforce development and mine training solutions for the industry, leading to significant growth in their product and services portfolio. Through a commitment to achieve measurable return on investment for their customers the following milestones were recently achieved.
From humble beginnings producing computer-based training for companies like BHP, Caltex, WesTrac and Macmahon, it didn’t take long for our founders to be trusted by mining customers to develop a solution that took training to the next level, a fully “Immersive” experience. By the mid 1990’s and with only 7 staff the business was on a journey to develop the world’s first Advanced Equipment Simulator for the mining industry.
