TopGun Operator Asia

TOPGUN Operator 2026 is a premium operator performance benchmarking and recognition program designed to identify and showcase the best heavy equipment operators through simulation-based competition. Using realistic operating scenarios and standardized performance metrics, the program objectively evaluates operator capability in a safe, controlled, and repeatable environment that reflects real mining conditions.

The 2026 competition will be delivered through a single qualification cycle. Nominated operators will complete a Baseline Assessment and a Final Assessment within the official qualification period. Performance results will be consolidated and validated to determine the finalists who will advance to the Final Round held in conjunction with the Asia User Group Forum (UGF).

Truck and Excavator operator competition using standardized simulator curriculum

Participants: experienced truck operators only (no supervisors/trainers)

Quarterly qualification round (site level)

Baseline + final assessment (1 attempt each, no re-run allowed)

Top site winners advance to inter-Site & final round

Quarterly results contribute to operator of the year

Assessment criteria (70%) + improvement performance (30%)

Assessment Categories: Safety, Productivity, Machine Care, Fuel Efficiency

Safety is a gating factor (critical violation = auto failure)

Improvement measured from Baseline to Final (no negative score)

Final score = (final assessment × 70%) + (improvement × 30%)

Tie breaker:

Truck: change from stop reaction time → go/proceed reaction time
Excavators: change to Instantaneous Dig Rate

Same scoring logic applied in final round

Best individual improvement within each site ~ exclusive Immersive Technologies merchandise
Site award for best overall improvement and participation ratio ~ Special Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) discount for 1 Year!

Notes:

Selection is based on a confidential composite that considers absolute performance, improvement, minimum standards, and participation
Results may be subject to audit
Ties may be resolved using a sequence of tie breakers such as a third score session

TOPGUN Operator 2026 adalah sebuah program unggulan dapat meng-evaluasi kinerja operator serta sebuah ajang penghargaan yang dirancang untuk menentukan dan menghadirkan operator alat berat terbaik melalui kompetisi berbasis simulasi. Melalui simulasi yang mempresentasikan kondisi kerja nyata serta metrik kinerja yang terstandarisasi, program ini secara objektif mengevaluasi kemampuan operator dalam lingkungan yang aman, terkendali, dan dapat diulang, yang dapat merefleksikan kondisi pertambangan sebenarnya.

Kompetisi tahun 2026 akan dilaksanakan melalui satu periode kualifikasi. Setiap operator akan di-ikut sertakan menjalani Baseline Assement dan Final Assesment dalam masa kualifikasi yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil penilaian akan diverifikasi guna menetapkan para finalis yang melanjutkan ke babak final, yang di selenggarakan bersamaan dengan Asia User Group Forum (UGF).

Kompetisi 2026 akan disampaikan melalui satu siklus kualifikasi. Operator yang dinominasikan akan menyelesaikan Penilaian Dasar dan Penilaian Akhir dalam periode kualifikasi resmi. Hasil kinerja akan dikonsolidasikan dan divalidasi untuk menentukan finalis yang akan maju ke Babak Final yang diselenggarakan bersamaan dengan.

Peserta: Diperuntukkan hanya kepada operator truk yang berpengalaman (Bukan Supervisor atau pelatih)

Tahap Seleksi triwulan untuk Site Level

Penilaian awal + Penilaian Akhir (Hanya diberikan 1x kesempatan dan tidak ada pengulangan)

Pemenang terbaik di tiap site akan melanjutkan ke tahap antar-site dan babak final

Hasil penilaian triwulan sebagai penentuan penunjukan Operator of the Year

Kriteria penilaian (70%) + peningkatan kinerja (30%)

Kategori penilaian: keamanan, produktivitas, perawatan mesin, efisiensi bahan bakar

Keselamatan adalah faktor penentu (Jika tidak terpenuhi maka langsung dianggap gagal dalam kompetisi ini)

Peningkatan kinerja diukur dari penilaian awal hingga akhir (dan tidak ada penilaian negative)

Skor akhir = (Penilaian akhir x 70%) + (Peningkatan x 30%)

Nilai Seri/Tie-breaker:

Truck: Menggunakan waktu reaksi saat mulai bergerak, sebagai pengganti waktu reaksi saat berhenti
Excavator: menggunakan laju penggalian instant.
