Perth based mining equipment simulator provider Immersive Technologies has relocated its production facility to a significantly larger building in Perth, Australia, to cater for its present and future growth.
Immersive Technologies designs and manufactures an extensive range of operator training simulators for the mining industry, and is widely recognised as the world’s leading mining equipment simulator provider.
The new facility provides a 100% increase in production space providing Immersive Technologies with the ability to continue fulfilling increasing demand from an international client base of leading mining companies including: BHP Billiton Spence, Chile; CP Mining, Cape Preston (Sino Iron) Mine, WA; PT Bukit Makmur Madiri Utama (BUMA), Indonesia; Southern Copper, Peru; SNIM, Mauritania.
With 380 simulator modules at 155 locations in 23 countries Immersive Technologies’ world leading simulation technology is seen as the industry standard for its proven ability to increase operator' safety, reduce unscheduled maintenance and improve productivity. The technology is supported by exclusive alliances with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) including Bucyrus, Caterpillar, Hitachi, Komatsu and Liebherr. These exclusive alliances provide the detailed proprietary information necessary to accurately replicate the real equipment and provide the highest levels of training transfer and retention.
